Bio - graphicman

Bill has been taking photographs for most of his adult life, dating back to his Senior year in college. Over time, he has maintained one basic mantra: "Just take good photographs! "   Every moment is one of a kind, fleeting and then gone forever. Photography enables us to revisit those precious memories in our lives.  It's a chance to review places we've been and people we love. Bill's experience in this medium has been diverse with particular emphasis on nature, sports and people. One amazing thing about photography is there is always something new to  learn. Don't  force anything  . .  just go with the flow, live the now and enjoy the ride.

"Photography for me is  the joy of realizing a vision. It's an expression of my own personal view of the world and in many ways, it's a form of self portrait. I have always felt that the best photographs have  been the ones that have gotten away,  so in one regard, i am always trying to capture the ever elusive moment!    It's always a work in progress! "

Never become so involved with the camera that you pay insufficient attention to what the subject is doing. Great photos are about interacting with people . . relaxing them to achieve natural expressions that convey their character. When i photograph a face . . i begin to love it. There is in every face a story . .   dreams, hopes and fears. My goal is to capture those emotions.

“Don’t think about making art. Just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they’re deciding, make even more art.”    Andy Warhol
